SYNTHETIC GLYCERIN FOR PHARMACEUTICAL USE

Synthetically-derived glycerin is a product with exceptional properties, making it very different from plant-derived glycerin. The manufacturing process guarantees a high-purity and high-stability product which meets the highest regulatory standards of the pharmaceutical industry.

Origins of our Synthetic Glycerin

Synthetic glycerin, manufactured by Olin in its dedicated plant in Stade (Germany), is distributed by our partner Hedinger from its two plants located in Germany. Hedinger, founded in 1843, only manufactures and distributes excipients for the pharmaceutical industry under GMP/GDP conditions.

Thanks to its state-of-the-art facilities, it can offer its manufacturing laboratories more critical specialties (biological, biosimilar, injectable and ophthalmic preparations), glycerin with microbiological control, and endotoxins subjected to strict quality controls (parenteral-standard quality). Likewise for the less critical specialties (syrups, creams, gels, vaginal applicators, suppositories, ointments, specialties for infants, etc.) Hedinger offers a pharmaceutical quality according to GMP.
